Spellings 11.3.16

Dear all,

Here are the spellings for this week. They following the rule for adding the suffixes -er, -est, -ed, -ing and -y to words containing a long vowel sound. The rule is 'drop the 'e' or do nothing'. Example: bake becomes baking by dropping the 'e' and adding the suffix. These words contain the suffixes listed above. Try and find the root word with your child whilst they are learning them.
