We have been learning the rules for adding the suffixes -ing, -er, -ed, -est, and -y.
If there is only one consonant after the vowel, you must double it! E.g. fun + y = funny.
If there is two consonants after the vowel, you do nothing! E.g. fast + est = fastest.
Capella class went into Hercules class to teach them the spelling rule. We had spent a long time making posters to help us and we took those with us! Take a look!
